The story behind the journey

Hello, I’m Gerome.

I'm Gerome Almario Tayao, an IT professional, educator, and creative practitioner from Plaridel, Bulacan. My journey began with a fascination for visual storytelling, leading me to explore graphic design, animation, and multimedia production in 2017—long before these interests became part of my professional career.

That curiosity eventually led me to pursue Information Technology at Bulacan State University, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2024 with a specialization in Service Management. Along the way, I discovered that technology is not only about building systems, but also about solving problems, supporting people, and creating meaningful experiences.

Today, I serve as an IT and Sales Manager at Results Marketing Partners and a BSIS Instructor at Richwell Colleges Inc. I'm also pursuing my Master of Science in Information Technology at Bulacan State University. These roles allow me to bring together technology, business, creativity, and education while continuing to learn from every experience.

What began as a passion for creating has evolved into a commitment to leading, learning, and helping others discover what they are capable of achieving.

My professional background.

My career has grown across creative production, IT service management, sales, digital marketing, team leadership, and higher education. Each role has helped me develop new skills and a deeper appreciation for collaboration and service.

  1. Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) Instructor

    I teach Information Systems students across areas including IT Service Management, Systems Analysis and Design, Data Structures and Algorithms Analysis, Human-Computer Interaction, and Living in the IT Era.

    My responsibilities include conducting lectures and laboratory activities, preparing syllabi and instructional materials, assessing student performance, and providing academic guidance. I aim to make technical concepts more approachable by connecting classroom discussions with practical industry experiences.

    As IT and Sales Manager, I oversee technology operations, CRM management, workflow automation, sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, client relations, and digital project delivery for a Pennsylvania-based digital marketing agency.

    My leadership responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional projects, establishing workflows and operating procedures, mentoring interns, monitoring performance, and supporting business growth through practical, data-informed strategies.

  3. IT and Sales Specialist

    Results Marketing Partners

    Managed CRM platforms such as GoHighLevel, Elite360, and Bitrix24; developed websites, landing pages, and sales funnels; implemented email automation; created multimedia content; and managed social media campaigns.

    I also provided technical support, assisted with system deployment, staff training, and operational improvements, and contributed to sales efforts and client acquisition.

    My internship introduced me to professional IT service management, digital marketing, and business operations. I supported incident, problem, and change management, service improvement initiatives, IT troubleshooting, research, and campaign activities.

    This experience became an important turning point, allowing me to apply what I learned at university and eventually transition into a full-time professional role.

  5. Freelance Graphic Designer & Multimedia Artist

    Freelance and Project-Based Work

    My freelance creative journey began with an interest in visual storytelling and gradually developed into projects involving branding, logos, posters, packaging, print materials, social media graphics, web and mobile UI/UX, animations, and video production.

    I collaborate with clients and teams to turn concepts into practical, visually engaging outputs using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, Canva, Filmora, and CapCut.

A new chapter in my journey

Growing as an educator, learning alongside my students.

In August 2026, I began a new chapter as a BSIS Instructor at Richwell Colleges Inc. While my professional background was built through technology operations, design, and digital business, teaching has given me another meaningful way to share what I have learned.

My teaching areas include IT Service Management, Systems Analysis and Design, Data Structures and Algorithms Analysis, Human-Computer Interaction, and Living in the IT Era. I prepare lessons, interactive learning materials, laboratory activities, and assessments designed to help students connect foundational concepts with real-world Information Systems practices.

Beyond the classroom, I have also contributed to academic activities as a student venture mentor, resource speaker, and external panel member for capstone and research projects. These experiences continue to strengthen my commitment to supporting the next generation of technology professionals.

Teaching reminds me that professional growth is not only about what we accomplish ourselves, but also about what we can help others discover and achieve.
